We drove three hours west to a very small coastal town called Pacific Beach. We knew there wouldn't be any grocery stores within about an hours drive, so we packed as much food as possible to bring with us for the two weeks we would be here.
Here is our home. A little foggy and misty here, but still the sound of the ocean is wonderful! We are only 200 feet from the beach!
First day we got here we went right to the ocean. It was warm , sunny and just wonderful!
Kids chasing the birds. There must have been at least a couple hundred or so birds.
The beach was huge! From the minute you walk onto the beach, until the minute you reach the water you have walked about 10 minutes! There were tons of tidal pools which were nice and warm for the kids to play in. Even the ocean water wasn't horribly cold.
Time to relax
