We left Bend with mixed feelings. Very excited to see a new place, but very sad to leave a place we grew to love. We were overwhelmed with how welcoming and friendly everyone was during our stay in Bend, that it made it very hard to move on to our next destination. Everyone would say to us how magical Bend is, and now we know why. The sunny dry days are hard to beat. The hundreds of hiking/running trails are the most beautiful we have ever seen. And the sweet smell of pine that filled the air was so intoxicating. Not to mention the most spectacular views every which way you turned. I would recommend everyone visiting Bend at least once to experience a little piece of heaven on earth.
